About Dwayne

 

Dwayne is an attorney who focuses his practice on employment litigation. Dwayne works with clients on matters of discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and wage disputes, and is well versed in both state and federal laws on the matter.  

 

Dwayne has extensive experience in both state and federal court, as well as agency proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations. 

​

Prior to working at the Law Office of Joshua Black, Dwayne focused his practice on civil litigation and is an experienced trial attorney.  He has first chaired more than 50 bench trials to verdict and handled two jury cases which settled after the juries were empaneled.  Prior to entering private practice, Dwayne served as a criminal defense trial attorney with the Maricopa Public Defender's Office, where he used his legal knowledge and skill to represent low income clients facing felony court proceedings.

 

Education

 

JD, Arizona Summit School of Law.  Dwayne was a Staff Editor for the Arizona Summit Law Journal.

BA, Arizona State University.  Dwayne received his bachelor's degree in English.
